"Become the music."

The Pianist
Pascal Salomon is a concert pianist who has performed across Europe, China, Israel, and the United States. He studied at the Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris under Gabriel Tacchino, earned the virtuosity degree from the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Genève with Edson Elias and Nelson Goerner, and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from UC Santa Barbara (2017). He has taken master classes with Vera Gornostaeva, György Sebök, András Schiff, Paul Badura-Skoda, Murray Perahia, and Jeremy Denk.
After serving on the Collaborative Piano faculty at Westmont College, Pascal founded the Salomon Music Academy and now leads the Santa Barbara Conservatory of Music Foundation — a nonprofit dedicated to transformative music education for every student, opening its doors in September 2026 at 935 San Andres Street.
His teaching blends rigorous classical tradition with modern pedagogy. The goal is not just technical mastery — it is helping each student become the music.
